Everyone can enjoy these lessons taught by Sam. With fun exercises in real drawing skills; draughtsmanship, composition, proportion, shading, colour, her step by step instructions show you how to work on a new picture with a new medium each week... All classes are highly suitable for beginners with the basic foundations, and budding Artists will get the professional hints and tips needed to improve artistic talents, with 1:1 help from Sam.. But more than anything, it’s a chance to spend 2 hours enjoying yourself..
Our topic this term is Hotch Potch!.. all sorts of interesting and fun images to excite our creativity.. Flora and fauna, figures and portraits, landscapes and architecture, still-life, design and illustration.. Loads of styles to explore and lots of experimenting with all the mediums, a chance to discover new stuff and maybe your own way of working and interpreting ... Our inspiration comes from Artists Lidiia Marinchuck figurines, Damyon Hardy lino prints, Juan Brufal AI paintings, Butch Hartman design, Adam Clague still life, Andrew Allanson pastels, Michail Iwanow illustration and a Jenny Faict portrait.. come and play...
Equipment and all drawing materials are provided EXCEPT an A3 sketch pad (recommended 130gsm or above Cartridge Paper).

Sam Orton Milne has been a professional Artist for 25 years after acquiring her BA Honours Degree in Fine Art. Working in all areas of Art, from Exhibitions of her Paintings to Specialist Artist in Night Clubs, Children’s Illustration, Animal and Human Portraiture, she has experience to share in her original unique classes, adding 10+ years of teaching them to the list……
