'Stitchety' Textiles Sessions

Wednesdays: 9.30am – 11.30am. Free taster sessions starting March 2026

2) Crochet 101 - 18th March

3) Knitting starter - 25th March

These 3 sessions are my introduction to the wonderful world of sewing and yarn based crafts. I'll have all of the tools and materials to start you off in patchwork, crochet and knitting and I can't wait to share my passion for these techniques with you.

A full course, after Easter will dive deeper into the possibilities of stitch in all of its forms, with help and inspiration throughout. I'll have a series of mini-projects for you but there will also be the space to lean into your individual creativity and work on your own mindful projects, with my full support and encouragement.

So please do join me in March and we can start your stitch journey together.

A bit about me – Originally from London, I moved to Lichfield in 2009. I have a background in both fine art and crafts, originally graduating from the Royal College of Arts in Ceramics. I've run arts workshops at The New Art Gallery Walsall for over 15 years and after setting up 'Stitchety' in 2024 my love for textiles is now taking centre stage, with some tentative new sculptural work and finding joy in introducing others to the mindful creativity of stitch.
