Shaun The Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom

Everyone’s favourite woolly troublemaker is back!

As Halloween approaches at Mossy Bottom Farm, disaster strikes when the Farmer accidentally destroys the flock’s precious pumpkin patch. Determined to put things right, Shaun decides to take matters into his own hooves, with some rather questionable scientific experiments. Unsurprisingly, things don’t quite go to plan, and before long there’s a mysterious beast roaming the woods and chaos breaking out across the farm.

Packed with Aardman’s trademark charm, clever visual humour and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments for children and adults alike, this latest Shaun adventure is spooky enough to be exciting but gentle enough for younger viewers.

If your family enjoyed Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, Paddington or the previous Shaun the Sheep films, this is an easy recommendation.

Early reaction

There’s already plenty of excitement surrounding Shaun’s return, particularly as this is the first Shaun film in several years and arrives during Aardman’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Early promotional material promises another warm-hearted, funny and beautifully crafted adventure from one of Britain’s most-loved animation studios.
