Facilitated by Faye, musical theatre singing classes are perfect for people wanting to learn more about how to sing correctly, have some fun as a group and meet other people. Every week Faye will cover all aspects of singing musical theatre using pieces from as far back as ‘Music Hall’ to modern music sung in today’s biggest films and popular theatre productions.

Summer is approaching (hopefully!) and Faye is looking forward to welcoming back exisitng members and meeting new people who wish to "Sing For Fun" - "Please don't be worried about your experience or ability, our groups are genuinely a lovely, friendly atmosphere to have fun and join in some singing!" For those who wish to, we have already been approached with opportunities to perform outside of TRC during 2025 which will be a great experience - and above all fun! As we head into the summer term, our pieces will include some classic theatre opening numbers and feelgood songs from the 1960s.

Faye trained at Birmingham School of Acting, graduating with a degree in Musical Theatre, and has worked in professional and amateur theatre as a performer and director. Most recently Faye has played the title role in Calamity Jane and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, both at the New Alexandra Theatre Birmingham.

Faye has been teaching singing privately for 18 years to both individual students and groups, covering a range of styles such as pop and classical but with Musical Theatre always remaining her true passion.

Above all please don’t be nervous. You don’t have to be a fabulous singer to join the group, you just need to love to sing and yes….we want men to join too please!!
